Septic Backing Up? We Pump Tanks Around the Clock

When sewage is coming up through a floor drain or the toilets will not flush, waiting until Monday is not an option. Bingham On-Site Sewers, Inc. offers 24/7 emergency septic pumping for homes and businesses across Polk and Hillsborough counties, plus Zephyrhills in Pasco County. Call 813-659-0003 day or night, including weekends.

We are a family-owned, licensed and insured septic company based on Knights Station Road in Lakeland, and we have worked on Central Florida septic systems since 1965. Our emergency service is for septic tank pumping only. Pumping an overfull tank brings the level down so wastewater can flow again, and it gives you time to schedule any follow-up work during regular business hours.

/Signs You Need Emergency Septic Pumping

  • Sewage backing up into toilets, tubs, showers or floor drains
  • Wastewater or sewage surfacing in the yard over the tank or drain field
  • Slow drains throughout the house, or toilets and pipes gurgling when water runs
  • Strong sewage odors inside the home or around the tank
  • A high-water alarm sounding on your septic system
  • Water pooling around the tank lid or a cleanout

One slow sink is often just a plumbing clog. When several fixtures back up at once, the tank may be full and need pumping.

/What to Do While You Wait

  • Stop using water where you can: hold off on laundry, the dishwasher, showers and extra flushing.
  • Keep children and pets away from any area where sewage has surfaced.
  • Do not open the tank lid or lean into the tank. The gases inside are dangerous.
  • Skip chemical drain openers. They will not empty a full tank and can harm the system.
  • If you know where the tank lid is, clear the area and unlock any gates so our truck can reach it.
  • Avoid contact with sewage indoors and wash your hands well after any cleanup.

/Emergency Availability and Additional Charges

Emergency pumping is offered based on availability. Our trucks and crews may already be out on other calls, so when you call, we will let you know what we can do. Emergency and after-hours pumping also carries an additional charge beyond a regularly scheduled pumping. Please ask about it, and if your situation can wait, we are happy to book a routine pumping during business hours instead.

/Services During Business Hours

Our 24/7 emergency service covers septic pumping only. All other work is scheduled during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. That includes septic repairs, drain field work, septic inspections, aerobic treatment unit (ATU) service, lift station service, grease trap cleaning and portable toilet rentals. If an emergency pumping visit turns up a bigger problem, we will explain what we found and set up the repair during office hours. Repairs come with our one-year warranty on labor and materials.
